for everyone

This Weeks theme is "Hobby"  And as Photography IS one of my hobby's I searched through the archives un till I found a good example of both The top pic is my offical entry with the rest as context and all can be enlarged by clicking on... This is part a an Exhibit of Tom Otherness Sculptures in Indianapolis that I walked around town taking shots of (saw about half of them.)I love how the artist has one of his sculptures looking at another.  The large one is called "Free Money" and the Lil guys are called "The Tourists" I have also opened another album here of the rest of them in which the first shots were taken by me with the rest filled in from the artists own website... Enjoy ;)

That's cute....bronze scupltures are so neat looking....the copper and bronze are really interesting the way they are amalgamated to making patterns and the colors!

Im not sure kata but I think he treats them chemically to either hold the color or age them quickly.. see the album for some really nice examples of his use of different colors/patenations of the same material ,bronze ;)

Thanks for your visit. There are people who are fond of water-related sports, others like having always their feet set on the ground and still others who like flying. That's a kind of balance....
sjxsn13 wrote on Apr 10
Such cute little sculptures. I love the angle that you have in the first shot!! Did you have to get on the ground for that one? :)

How interesting... I love those little critters. The tourists... What a neat exhibit. One of these days, I will have to take a picture of the OHIO sign that sits in front of the mans yard here in town that is very unique and find the story behind it. There are a few others that are similar like people and stuff around the area, so I am not sure where they all ended up. I will have to go on a search when summer comes. Great post. Thanks so much for visiting. Much appreciated. I love seeing my friends each week stop by, lilangelwolf
